Privacy statement
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Kevin Rebuilds respects your privacy. This statement explains which personal data I process when you visit this website or contact me, why I do so and which rights you have.
Who is responsible?
Kevin Rebuilds, based in Emmen (Drenthe, the Netherlands), Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 42176893, is responsible for processing personal data as described in this statement. You can reach me at [email protected].
Which data do I process?
When you fill in the request form or email me, I process the data you provide yourself:
- your name and email address;
- your company name, if you provide it;
- the service your request is about and the description of your project;
- the language of the page on which you filled in the form.
Why do I process this data?
- To answer your request or question and send you a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to a possible contract.
- To carry out an assignment if we work together. The legal basis is the performance of the contract.
- To comply with legal obligations, such as the Dutch tax retention obligation for invoices and records.
Who do I share data with?
I never sell your data and only share it with parties needed to run this website and my work:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) forwards the data from the request form to my inbox.
- Google (Gmail) provides the inbox where requests and emails arrive.
- My hosting provider stores the files of this website on a server.
- Cloudflare provides secure and fast delivery of the website and forwards email sent to [email protected] to my Gmail inbox. It also processes technical data such as your IP address.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these parties, such as Google and Cloudflare, may also process data outside the European Union, for example in the United States. This only happens with appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long do I keep data?
- Requests that don't lead to an assignment are kept for up to 12 months after the last contact.
- Client data is kept for as long as the assignment requires. Invoices and records are kept for 7 years, as required by Dutch law.
- Technical data from the server and Cloudflare, such as IP addresses in log files, is only kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies itself and does not use tracking or analytics tools. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the website against abuse; no consent is required for that. Fonts are loaded from this website itself, not from external services such as Google Fonts.
No language preference is stored: you choose the language via the link to the Dutch or English version.
Security
The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). I take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unlawful use.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. Send your request to [email protected]. I'll respond within one month.
Don't agree with how I handle your data? Let me know and we'll find a solution together. You also always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Changes
I may update this privacy statement when the website or my way of working changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
